Boot and install Linux with a 700 MB USB Flash Drive

I'm alway trying new distrubutions or updating with a frash install. CD and DVD'd are cheap but I have a small room filled with them. USB Flash installs 10 times faster (depends on your system and usb flash drive) as CD or DVD. And most important is our environment, thoses old cds and dvd's will be recyled but some I'm sure will end up in the dump. Preparing Files for USB Memory Stick Booting To prepare the USB stick, you will need a system where GNU/Linux is already running and where USB is supported.
